Fitness Classes

Experience high-intensity, full-body workouts. From circuit-style routines to creative muscle-toning and cardio exercises, each class will challenge you in its own unique way.

Mat Pilates is a pilates training practice that can be done on a mat meaning no reformer is used. In this class, you hold movements like planks, side planks, and core exercises to build your muscle groups and core strength. Your pilates instructor will give you options to use bands, exercise balls, and sometimes even small weights to help level up your pilates experience.

Nutrition Education

How do I get started?
Either jump on a discovery call with a Dietitian or check out a free group fitness class. Once you decide you love it (we are pretty confident about that) we will schedule you for your initial consultation.
What should I expect at my follow up visits?
Follow up visits are 15-30 minutes long. We will discuss your goals, what’s going well, and what barriers you may be having. We’ll address barriers, answer questions, provide further education, and adjust goals as needed.
How is our package better than a packaged commercial program like Optavia, Medifast, Weight Watchers, etc?

Both comprehensive weight loss plans and commercial programs like Optavia are approaches that aim to help individuals lose weight. However, there are some differences between the two. Here is what our package offers that you may not get in other commercial programs:

  • Customization: Our comprehensive plan can be tailored to meet your specific needs, taking into account your preferences, dietary restrictions, and lifestyle. On the other hand, other programs follow a structured meal plan with prepackaged meals, which may not offer the same level of customization.
  • Flexibility: Our comprehensive plan minimizes restrictions, allowing for flexibility in food choices and meal timing, and ensuring you still enjoy your favorite foods. It promotes a sustainable approach to weight loss that can be maintained on a long-term basis.
  • Education and Support: You will receive educational resources, guidance, and support from a Registered Dietitian to help you develop a better understanding of nutrition, healthy eating habits, and behavior change. While other commercial programs offer some support through their coaches, the level of education and individualized guidance may not be as extensive as with our plan.

What is the cancellation policy?

We want everyone to have the opportunity to experience our services. One of our top priorities is to assist and empower you to stay committed to your goals. Our commitment to your success goes beyond our sessions. You have taken steps to invest in yourself. Please know that we appreciate you trusting us as part of your journey. A cancellation policy is as important for you as it is for us. When you schedule an appointment, that time and spot is reserved for you.

We understand that circumstances may arise where you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. To ensure a fair and transparent process, we have established the following cancellation policy:

1. Cancellation:

  • Please allow at least 24 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling of any type of appointment.
  • For appointments canceled and/or rescheduled less than 24 hours in advance there will be a $30 cancellation fee.

2. No-show:

  • Office appointments: If you fail to show up for our scheduled appointment time you will be considered a “no-show” and will be charged a $30 no-show fee.

3. Late:

  • If you are late for a session, you may lose some of that session time.

What to do if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment:

1. Email support@compleatwellness.us to notify us immediately of your appointment cancellation or need to reschedule.

  • We will no longer be accepting messages via other email addresses, text, social media, etc.
  • We understand things come up, this is in no way a means of discouragement. If there is a sudden emergency please let us know.
  • If you are ill and unable to attend your scheduled appointment, please let us know 24 hours before your appointment time to avoid the cancellation fee being charged.
  • If you need assistance on understanding HOW to cancel a class, please let us know. We are here to help and want you to feel comfortable with the cancellation process.
What should I expect during my initial consultation?

Your initial consultation will be 60-90 minutes. We will thoroughly review your medical and nutrition history, review what a typical day looks like for you, provide education and resources, and develop tailored goals so you feel confident leaving the appointment, with a plan to achieve your goals.

Can I purchase a class outside of being a member?
Yes. We offer single, 10 and 20 class bundles. To learn more about how this works, please click here.
Traditional gyms offer nutrition support too, how is yours different?
At Compleat Wellness, nutrition support is provided by a Registered Dietitian. Dietitians are highly trained professionals, holding at least a bachelor’s or master’s degree in nutrition and dietetics. They are regulated healthcare professionals in the U.S. and are held to specific standards of practice, competency, and continuing education. Dietitians base their recommendations on the latest scientific research and evidence-based guidelines. This ensures that the recommendations you receive are backed by scientific evidence and tailored to your specific needs. What this means is that you will not be encouraged to take or buy products, supplements, pills, etc. that are not supported by credible scientific research.
 
Dietitians are trained to provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT) for various medical conditions. They can work closely with healthcare professionals to develop personalized nutrition plans that address specific health concerns, such as diabetes, heart disease, gastrointestinal disorders, and more. They understand how nutrition impacts different medical conditions and can integrate dietary modifications with other treatments or medications.
 
We will take into account your unique needs, preferences, and health goals when developing a nutrition plan, and factor in your age, gender, lifestyle, medical history, allergies, cultural background, and dietary restrictions. This personalized approach ensures that the recommendations are practical, sustainable, and suitable for your individual circumstances.
 
While other nutrition professionals may possess knowledge and expertise in nutrition, working with a dietitian offers the assurance of a regulated profession with a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice and personalized care. This can be particularly beneficial if you have specific medical conditions or dietary requirements that require a higher level of expertise and specialized guidance.
How can I integrate insurance into this package?
That is a great question! We want you to be able to maximize any insurance benefit that you have. First, let's clear up what IS and what IS NOT covered by insurance.
 
What IS covered by insurance:
  • Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for preventative nutritional counseling and medical diagnoses
What IS NOT covered by insurance:
  • BodyGem metabolic machine
  • Living Plate RX meal planning software
  • Private Facebook group
  • Check-ins in between visits
  • Personal training
  • Group fitness classes
Many insurance policies distinguish between MNT for preventative nutritional counseling and MNT for specific medical diagnoses. You will want to inquire about EACH benefit (Preventative and Medical) as the coverage tends to vary depending upon how the claim is billed.
 
1. The first step is to verify your coverage for nutrition counseling using this form.
 
2. We will use the base cost of the program (cost of services not billed to insurance), the balance of visits not covered by insurance, and any applicable cost share to calculate the package cost. We have a worksheet to complete this process.
